Irrigation & landscapes · Hartsville, SC

Most sprinkler problems start underground.

We install and repair irrigation systems, tune them to use less water, and build the beds, plantings and lighting that make the yard worth watering.

System check

When was the last time your system was checked?

Small problems hide under the grass until they show up as a dead patch, a soggy corner or a high water bill. A check catches them early.

  • Run every zoneWatch each one cycle and note heads that stick, mist or don’t pop up.
  • Open the valve boxesLook for leaks, worn valves, loose wiring and broken lids.
  • Adjust heads and sprayAim water at the lawn and beds, not the driveway or siding.
  • Test the controllerConfirm run times, start times and the rain sensor match the season.

Sprinkler coverage, before and after adjustment On the left, sprinkler heads spaced too far apart leave a dry patch in the middle of the lawn and one head sprays onto the sidewalk. On the right, each head reaches the next one, covering the whole lawn with no water on the pavement. BEFORE: GAPS AND OVERSPRAY AFTER: HEAD-TO-HEAD dry patch water on the sidewalk sidewalk stays dry

Water efficiency

Every head should reach the next one.

When heads are spaced or aimed wrong, you get brown spots in the middle of the lawn and puddles on the driveway, and the usual fix is to run the system longer. That waters the street, not the grass.

We space and aim heads so their spray overlaps, swap nozzles that don’t match, and set run times by zone, so every part of the yard gets what it needs and nothing more.
